Overview
Event Subscriptions allow Onefile Eportfolio to automatically update a learner’s Off‑The‑Job (OTJ) training hours whenever a timesheet entry is added or modified. This ensures that learner data remains current and accurately synchronised with Onefile or Tracker ILR.

How It Works
- When a learner’s timesheet entry is created or edited in Eportfolio, the OTJ calculation is automatically refreshed.
- The updated OTJ total is then sent to Onefile / Tracker ILR via the event subscription.
- The ILR record receives the updated OTJ hours as part of its ongoing synchronisation process.
Important Notes
- Product Visibility: Only the Onefile products your organisation has purchased will appear.
- Subscription Scope: Off‑the‑job calculation events apply only to learners created using Event Subscriptions.
- Processing Time: Calculations are processed in a queue and may take up to 24 hours to appear in the ILR.
- Multi‑Centre Behaviour: If you manage multiple Eportfolio centres, changes to Event Subscriptions in any centre apply across all centres.
