Report on Active learning

Overview

The Active Learning report provides a detailed overview of each learner’s activity, progress, and engagement within Onefile Eportfolio. It allows staff to monitor learning activity, identify inactivity or gaps, and ensure learners are meeting Active Learning expectations.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Centre Manager
  • Assessor and Trainee

Steps

How to Access the Active Learning Report

  1. Click Reports from the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Scroll to the Learner Reports section.
  3. Select Active Learning.

What the Active Learning Report Shows

This report includes key information to help staff track learner engagement:

  • Learner name
  • ULN (if recorded)
  • Main Learning Aim
  • Start date
  • Learner Status (if recorded)
  • Progress percentage
  • Date of last Assessment
  • Date of last Assessment Plan
  • Date of last completed Review
  • First OTJ Activity
  • Date and time of last OTJ entry
  • Number of days since last OTJ entry
  • Break in Learning status
  • EPA Period status

Tips & Notes

  • Use the report to identify early signs of inactivity and support learner engagement.
  • Combine with OTJ reporting for a full Active Learning overview.
  • Filters can be applied to narrow results by provider, assessor, class or learner status.
