FAQs

Is there a report to see which users accounts aren't linked to a Keychain?

Yes, you can run a report by following the steps below:

  1. Click Reports on your left navigation bar
  2. Under Centre reports click Users without a Keychain
Will we still be able to unlink accounts from Keychains to reset passwords or change the login email?

Yes within Eportfolio, however when the user logs in using a individual username and password, they'll be prompted to create a keychain as per the video below.

Can users reset their own passwords?

Yes, by clicking on Forgot Password on the login page and following the instructions shown on screen.

Can users update their Keychain email?

Yes, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your Keychain
  2. Click Email Preferences

Here you can update your Name and Email address.

Please note you'll only be able to edit this information if the T&Cs aren't ticked.

If a user's email is entered incorrectly upon account creation, how will they be able to log in?

A Centre Manager can remove the account from the keychain by clicking the Unlock button on the account page. Then update the email address to the correct email and click the Email button on the login page. This will send the user a copy of their username and password.

They'll then be prompted to create a keychain as per the video below.

What if a user doesn't have an email address?

Users without email addresses will need to create one, or be provided with one in order to access OneFile.

How will these changes impact single sign on?

There will be no impact or change if the users are already on a keychain.
