✨ New feature alert
This feature is available from Thursday 17 September 2026.
Overview
The Hide from Portfolio and Progress setting lets you remove a learning aim from a learner's Portfolio and Progress pages while keeping it fully usable for Scorecards. It's useful for bespoke learning aims that exist only to support Scorecards, so they don't clutter the learner's view. The setting is off by default for every learning aim.
User Roles
This feature can be used by:
- Centre Manager
Steps to Hide a Learning Aim from the Portfolio and Progress Pages
- Click Centre in the left-hand navigation bar.
- Click Learning Aims.
- Find the learning aim you want to hide, Actions then click Edit to open the Edit Learning Aim dialog.
- Turn on Hide from Portfolio and Progress.
- Click Save.
To make the learning aim visible again, follow the same steps and turn the setting off.
⚠️ Important: This setting only affects where the learning aim is displayed. Nothing about how progress is tracked or weighted has changed — the aim remains fully usable for Scorecards.
Tips & Notes
- The setting is off by default, so learning aims continue to appear on the Portfolio and Progress pages unless you turn it on.
- Use this for bespoke learning aims created only to support Scorecards, so they stay available for scoring without showing on the learner's pages.
- Hiding a learning aim does not remove it or change the learner's other learning aims.
Terminology
