To better support caseload management, the Learner Start Date Diagnostics Report is now available to Assessors and Trainee Assessors. The report is automatically filtered to show only the learners assigned to them.
Overview
This article explains how Centre Managers, Assessors and Trainee Assessors can access and use the Learner Start Date Diagnostics Report. It covers what data is displayed, how the automatic filtering works, and how to use the report to manage your learner caseload effectively.
Permissions
Who Can Use This Feature?
This feature can be used by the following user roles:
- Assessor — Can access the report, filtered to their assigned learners only.
- Trainee Assessor — Can access the report, filtered to their assigned learners only.
- Centre Manager — Full access to the report across all learners and assessors.
Steps
- Log in to your account — Sign in as an Assessor or Trainee Assessor.
- Navigate to Reports — From the main navigation, go to Reports and select Learner Start Date Diagnostics.
- Review your filtered results — The report will automatically display only the learners assigned to you. No additional filtering is required to scope results to your caseload.
- Use the data — Review start dates, identify any diagnostics concerns, and take action as needed to support your learners.
- Export if needed — Click Export to download the report in your preferred format (CSV or PDF).
Available Filters
The following filters are available to further refine the report:
- Date Range — Filter by learner start date range.
- Learner Group — Narrow results to a specific group within your assigned learners.
- Include Archived Learners — Optionally include learners who have been archived.
- Include Suspended Users — Optionally include suspended learners in results.
Tips & Notes
- The report is automatically scoped to your caseload — you will only ever see learners assigned to you, with no extra filtering needed.
- If a learner does not appear in your report, check that they have been correctly assigned to you in the system.
- Enable Include Archived Learners if you need a full historical view of past learners on your caseload.
Terminology
Please note that the terminology used in this article may differ depending on your Centre. For example, Learners may appear as Students or Trainees, and Assessor may appear as Tutor or Coach.
