Event Subscriptions - Automatically Calculate Off-The-Job Training Hours

Event Subscriptions offer a powerful way to streamline learner data management by automating updates between Eportfolio and Onefile or Tracker ILR. One key feature is the ability to automatically calculate and update off-the-job training hours based on learner activity. 

Overview

This event ensures that a learner’s actual off-the-job hours are kept up to date in Onefile or Tracker ILR whenever a timesheet record is added or modified in Eportfolio.

How It Works

• When a timesheet entry is created or edited in Eportfolio, the system recalculates the learner’s off-the-job training hours.
• The updated value is then automatically sent to the ILR (Individualised Learner Record) for syncing.

ℹ️Important Notes

• You’ll only see Onefile products that your organisation has purchased.
• Off-the-job events apply only to learner records created using Event Subscriptions.
• The calculation process runs in a queue and may take up to 24 hours to reflect in the ILR.
• If your organisation manages multiple Eportfolio centres, any changes made to Event Subscriptions in one centre will apply across all centres.
