On Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, we’ll be rolling out a series of enhancements to Eportfolio and the Learning Journal aimed at improving usability, accuracy, and the overall experience for both learners and assessors.

Assign LLDD and Health Problems to a learner

  User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager 
  • User Manager
  • Assessor with permissions
  • Trainee Assessor with permissions
  • Internal Verifier with permissions

Can manage learner accounts

To assign a learner to a LLDD or Health Problem or change the records they are assigned to, follow the steps below: 

  1. Navigate to the Learner portfolio 
  2. Click Episode tab 
  3. Click the relevant drop down menu to select the learner Ethnicity, Sex, LLDD and Health Status
  4. Click Save

To add additional LLDD or health condition, select Learner considers himself or herself to have a learning difficulty and/or disability and/or health problem, select the Primary LLDD or Health Condition and click Save. Then navigate back to the Episode page and click Add LLDD or heath condition.

The new list of LLDD and health problem categories has been sourced from the ESFA ILR (Individualised Learner Record).
