Assign LLDD and Health Problems to a learner

Overview

You can assign or update a learner’s LLDD (Learning Difficulty, Disability or Health Problem) information within their portfolio. This ensures accurate ILR reporting and supports individual learning needs. The LLDD and health problem categories come from the ESFA ILR (Individualised Learner Record) dataset.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Centre Manager
  • User Manager
  • Assessor (with permissions)
  • Trainee Assessor (with permissions)
  • Internal Verifier (with permissions)

Permissions

  • Can manage learner accounts

Steps to Assign LLDD or Health Problem

  1. Navigate to the Learner Portfolio.
  2. Click the Episode tab.
  3. Use the dropdown menus to select the learner’s:
    • Ethnicity
    • Sex
    • LLDD and Health Status
  4. Click Save.

Adding Additional LLDD or Health Conditions

If the learner has multiple learning difficulties, disabilities or health problems:

  1. Select Learner considers himself or herself to have a learning difficulty and/or disability and/or health problem.
  2. Select the Primary LLDD or Health Condition.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Return to the Episode page and click Add LLDD or health condition to record additional conditions.

Tips & Notes

  • Ensure LLDD information is accurate for ILR compliance.
  • The first condition added should always be the primary need.
  • Additional LLDD or health problems can be added as needed.
