Create a Tutor

Overview

Tutors can be created and assigned to courses so they can support learners within Onefile Enrol. Tutors will only see learners assigned specifically to them, helping ensure data confidentiality and accurate workflow management.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Training Provider

Steps to Create a Tutor

  1. Click Users on the left navigation bar.
  2. Click Create new user.
  3. Add the user’s personal details.
  4. Select Tutor under the Assign Role section.
  5. Click Close.

Assign the Tutor to a Course

  1. Click Courses on the left navigation bar.
  2. Create a new course or click Edit next to an existing course.
  3. Select the tutor(s) you want to assign.
  4. Click Update Course.

Assign the Tutor to a Learner

  1. Navigate to an existing learner or create a new learner.
  2. Add Employer and Sector details if not already added.
  3. Click Assign Tutor.

Note: Tutors can only see learners who are assigned to them.

Troubleshooting

  • If a tutor does not appear in the Assign Tutor list, ensure the tutor has been assigned to the relevant course.
