How do I sync my OneFile calendar with an external calendar?

  User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Assessor
  • Learner

To sync your OneFile Calendar, follow the steps below:

  1. Click View Calendar (Located within Dashboard area)
  2. Click Subscribe to Calendar
  3. Copy URL link 
  4. Paste into Calendar application

Once you've generated a URL for your OneFile calendar, expand the sections below to find the steps to link your OneFile Calendar to an external calendar:

Google Calendar
  1. Open Google Calendar
  2. Click down arrow within Other calendars section
  3. Click  Add by URL
  4. Enter calendar's URL in the field 
  5. Click Add calendar
Microsoft Outlook (Office 365)
  1. Login to your Office 365 account
  2. Click the App Launche
  3. Click Calendar 
  4. Click New down arrow (Outlook Calendar navigation bar)
  5. Click Add calendar 
  6. Click From internet
  7. Paste URL into field
  8. Click Save
Microsoft Outlook (Desktop)
  1. Open Microsoft Outlook 
  2. Click Calendar tab
  3. In the home ribbon, select Open Calendar
  4. Select From Internet
  5. Paste URL
  6. Click OK
iOS Calendar
  1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad 
  2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  3. Tap Add Account
  4. Tap Other
  5. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar under the “Other” section
  6. Paste the URL
  7. Tap Next button
  8. Tap Save button

 Third-Party Calandar Compatibility

This feature has been tested with the following email applications, although this feature should work with any online calendar that supports "Internet calendars".

  • Outlook
  • Office 365
  • Google
  • ios Calendar

The calendar will show events up to one year before and all future events.
