Set your user online status and out of office message

Overview

Onefile users can set their own Online User Status and Out of Office message. This helps colleagues, learners, and assessors understand availability and ensures clear communication across the platform.

This feature can be used by:

  • All OneFile Eportfolio users

Steps

How to Set Your User Status

  1. Log in to your OneFile account.
  2. Click your name in the top‑right corner of the screen.
  3. Select Set Status.
  4. Toggle Show my online status:
    • Left = Off
    • Right = On
  5. Click Status to add or update your availability.
  6. If required, enter an Out of Office message.
  7. Click Save.

Tips & Notes

  • Your online status helps others know when you are active or available.
  • Out of Office messages are useful during holidays, sickness, or scheduled leave.
  • Statuses can be updated as often as needed and take effect immediately.
