Course Completion Tasks

Overview

When a learner completes a course in the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), their default Assessor receives a task to review the completion details and confirm the learner’s progress.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • Assessor and Trainee

Permissions

To view course details from the task, the user must have the VLE Tutor permission enabled.

What Information Is Included in the Task?

The Course Completion Task includes the following details:

  • Learners assigned to the course
  • Assigned date
  • Date started
  • Date finished
  • Activities passed
  • Progress percentage

Completing the Task

To complete the task, click Hide on the right-hand side of the task.

Important Notes

  • Use Gap Analysis to see which criteria have been covered by the course and how they contribute to learner progress.
  • Course completion tasks are only generated when a learner finishes all required activities.

Troubleshooting

IssueSolution
Cannot see course detailsCheck that you have been granted the VLE Tutor permission.
Task not appearingEnsure the learner has completed the course and that you are set as their Default Assessor.
