Overview
This feature allows you to override the default permissions set at the User Group level for an individual user.
Who Can Use This Feature?
This feature can be used by the following user roles:
- Centre Manager
What Are User Permissions?
User Permissions let you assign or override specific permissions for a single user.
They take priority over the permissions defined in Group Permissions.
Steps to Change User Permissions
Navigate to Users
- Click Users in the navigation menu.
Open the User Account
- Click on the Account of the user whose permissions you want to change.
Go to the Permissions Tab
- Click the Permissions tab at the top of the page.
Set the Permission
- From the drop-down list, choose the desired setting for each permission.
Save Changes
- Click Save to apply the new permissions.
Available Options
Inherit
Always use the Group Setting specified by a Centre Manager in the Group Permissions area.Grant
Always grant the permission for the selected user, regardless of the group setting.Deny
Always deny the permission for the selected user, regardless of the group setting.
ℹ️Important Notes
- Use Inherit for consistency unless you need to override a specific permission.
- Changes apply immediately after saving.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Permissions tab not visible | Confirm you have the Centre Manager role. |
| Changes not applying | Refresh the page and verify the user account. |
