How do I create a Placement?

A Placement represents the learner's place of work/ location whilst completing their apprenticeship.

 

Only Centre Managers and User Managers can create and edit Placements. 

 

To create a Placement, follow the steps below: 

  1. Click Centre in the navigation menu

  2. Click Placements
  3. Click Create Placement
  4. Enter the Placement Name Address
  5. Click Save


Placements can be assigned to learners whilst creating their account, but can also be changed on the Episodes tab.


Once the Placement has been created, you can add further information about the Placement, including:


  • Contact Name
  • Telephone Number
  • Telephone Extension
  • Email
  • Website
  • Fax
  • MIS Value (if enabled in the centre settings)


If you have permission to manage Placement Documents, you will see a section allowing you to upload files and set expiry dates.


Tip - At the top of each Placement page, you can create Observer and Employer accounts
