Software Update: Thursday 5th December 2024

On Thursday, we're updating OneFile Eportfolio and Fusion, to introduce some new enhancements and fixes.

Enhancements

Eportfolio

• A new diagnostics report is now available that lists all of the timesheet records with a date from before the learner's start date. The new report is called "Timesheets before Start Date" and can be found in the diagnostics section on the reports page
• We have added validation on the timesheet page to help maintain compliance with the funding rules. This validation will prevent the saving of an Off-The-Job timesheet record if there is already an existing Off-The-Job record covering the same time period
• A new centre setting has been added that allows you to control whether a learner's “In EPA Period” checkbox is automatically set when the learner's status changes based on the setting against the status. The setting is in the “Learner Status” section of the centre setting page.
• Warning banner text on the unit selection page is red rather than white
• A new permission called “Can Edit Planned End Date” has been added that will allow you to control who can edit the Planned End Date
• We are excited to announce a new integration with the Association of Apprentices (AoA). This integration allows apprentices to easily access their AoA resources directly from OneFile, without needing to log into the AoA website.
  Once enabled in the integration hub, learners will find a new AoA Membership link under the MyAccounts side menu in their keychain. If they are already registered with the AoA, clicking the link will take them to the AoA website. If not, OneFile will direct them to the AoA registration page.
  In order to enable the integration you will need to enter your AoA corporate membership id. This can be found on your AoA Corporate member Dashboard, or by contacting the Association of Apprentices.

Data exports

• The field InEPAPeriod has been added to the Users (Learner) data export

Fusion

• We are excited to announce the release of the new Fusion Dashboard!
  Initially, the Fusion Dashboard will be available to assessors only.
  This feature can be enabled in either the Live or Practice environment via the Integration Hub. Once enabled, it will be accessible to all assessors across your centres from within their Keychain.
  Assessors can access the dashboard from the left navigation bar in their keychain or by clicking the dashboard link against one of their assessor accounts.
  For assessors, the dashboard will provide
  - Quick, direct access to their learners
  - A view of key learner details
  - Ability to drill into a learner’s dashboard
  - Direct navigation to a learner’s portfolio
  - Quick access to assessments requiring their action
  - Quick access to messages
  - Quick access to tasks
  - Visibility across all their assessor accounts from one dashboard

Fixes

Eportfolio

• VLE Course Summary page not displaying results correctly when a quiz contains a question which is a short answer type
• ILP versions showing fields have changed even though they have not
• An error occurs when adding a task to an assessment plan when the characters < and > are entered into the description
•  Notes and note attachments are no longer displayed in the activity log when viewed by a learner 

These changes aren't guaranteed to be included in this update.  Any changes to the above planned updates will be communicated in this thread!
