Update Module settings on a published course

Overview

This feature allows you to update the settings of modules within a published course. For example, you can change the completion order so learners can complete modules in any order rather than following a sequential structure.

Permissions

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager
  • Assessor (with permissions)
  • VLE Tutor

Steps

How to Update Module Settings

  1. Click Update on the published course.
  2. Click Yes, edit content when prompted.
  3. Navigate to the Settings tab.
  4. Select In any order to allow modules to be completed in any sequence.

Tips & Notes

  • Editing settings does not delete existing learner progress.
  • Changing the module order affects all learners assigned to that course.
  • You can switch back to sequential order at any time if your programme requires structured progression.
