Quiz Settings in Courses

The Quiz Settings feature allows you to customize how quizzes behave within a course. You can configure the following options:

Available Settings

  • Pass Mark: Define the minimum score required to pass the quiz.
  • Randomize Answers: Shuffle the order of answers for each question.
  • Randomize Questions: Shuffle the order of questions in the quiz.
  • Show Correct Answers: Choose whether learners see correct answers after completing the quiz.
  • Time Limit: Set a time limit for completing the quiz.
  • Allow Retakes: Enable learners to repeat the quiz after completion.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager
  • Assessor (with permission)


Permissions

Ensure the appropriate permissions are granted for the above roles to access and modify quiz settings.

  • VLE Tutor

How to Access Quiz Settings

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Courses from the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Create a new course or click Edit on a Draft Course.
  3. Create a Quiz Page or click on an existing quiz page to open it.
  4. Click Settings to configure quiz options.
