Upcoming System Update: Eportfolio & Learning Journal

On Wednesday 21st January 2026, we’ll be rolling out a series of enhancements and fixes to Eportfolio.

Configuring the OneFile PowerBI Dashboard

Once you have purcahsed the Data Export (database tables) add on, and the pre-built PowerBI Dashboard, a member of the team will send you a pbit file (PowerBI Template file).

Important

Please ensure you have Power BI Desktop installed on your machine, before following the steps below.

To load the PowerBI dashboard from the file, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the OneFile_DataExport_Dashboard_Vx.x.pbit file in Power Bi Desktop
  2. You will be prompted to enter the "DataExport_Server" and "DataExport_Database" details
    • *These details will be provided to you a couple of working days upon purchase of the Data Export (database tables)
  3. Select the option to authenticate via Database
  4. Enter the Username and Password*
  5. Click Connect

Once authenticated, PowerBI will load the data from the Data Export database tables and your dashboard will be automatically populated.
