Overview
Centre Managers can allow Employers to start assessments within Onefile Eportfolio by enabling the Interactive Employer Account settings. This gives Employers additional functionality and the ability to initiate assessment activity for their learners.
User Roles
This feature can be used by:
- Centre Manager
Centre Setting
To enable this feature, activate the following settings under the Interactive Employer Account (Employers) section:
- Allow this group
- Allow this group to start assessments
Steps to Enable Employers to Start Assessments
- Click Centre in the left-hand navigation.
- Click Settings.
- Scroll to the Interactive Employer Account (Employers) section.
- Enable the settings:
- Allow this group
- Allow this group to start assessments
- Click Save.
Tips & Notes
- Employers will only see functions they have permissions for once the setting has been enabled.
- Consider reviewing Employer training or guidance before enabling assessment‑starting access.
- Employers starting assessments may impact workflow—ensure Assessors are aware of this change.
