Create a signable copy of a learner's ILP

Overview

A signable copy of a learner’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP) is required when signatures are needed from learners, assessors, employers, or other stakeholders. Once created, the ILP becomes a signable version and previous signed versions are stored for reference. If an issue is found in the ILP before completion, it can be rejected and returned to the user who created it.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager
  • Assessor

How to Create a Signable Copy

  1. Open the learner’s portfolio.
  2. Click the Progress tab within the Information and Options section.
  3. Click ILP.
  4. Scroll down to the Current Version section.
  5. Click Create Signable Copy.

Completed ILPs containing all required signatures will appear in the Previous Signed Versions section and will remain in the learner’s portfolio.

Rejecting an ILP

If an issue is found before the ILP has been fully completed and signed, it must be resubmitted back to the person who created the signable copy. Clicking the Reject button will return the ILP to the previous user.

Updating ILP Information

The ILP acts as a container of existing learner information and data. If you need to update any information prior to creating a signable copy, make these changes on the relevant page in Onefile — not on the ILP page itself.

Changes made since the last signed ILP version will be highlighted using the highlight colour selected in your Profile Appearance settings.
