Overview
If a learner’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP) is awaiting a signature from an employer or assessor who is no longer linked to the learner, the ILP remains in a pending state. This prevents creating another signable copy.
You can resolve this by updating the signature details.
Who Can Use This Feature?
This feature can be used by the following user roles:
- Centre Manager
Steps to Change a Pending Signature
- Reassign the previous Assessor or Employer to the learner.
- Open the ILP.
- Scroll to the signature section at the bottom.
- Click Change Assessor or Change Employer.
- Select the new Assessor or Employer.
- Click Use this Assessor or Use this Employer.
- Remove the previous Assessor or Employer from the learner.

- This process ensures the ILP can be signed by the correct user.
- Terminology may vary depending on your Centre’s configuration.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Cannot change signature | Ensure the new Assessor or Employer is linked to the learner before updating. |
| ILP still pending | Confirm the signature update was saved and the previous user removed. |
