Assign an ILP to Learners

Overview

ILPs (Individual Learning Plans) can be assigned to individual learners or to multiple learners at once. This guide explains how Centre Managers, Assessors, and IQAs can assign ILP versions using the Centre and User areas.

Permissions

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by:

  • Centre Managers
  • Assessors (with permissions)
  • Internal Quality Assurers (with permissions)

Required Permission

  • Can manage learner accounts

Steps

Assign an ILP to Multiple Learners

  1. Click Centre on the left navigation bar.
  2. Click ILP Versions.
  3. Click Learners next to the ILP version you want to assign.
  4. Use the filters to display the desired learners.
  5. Select the learners.
  6. Under Selection, choose Assign this form to selected learners.
  7. Click Action.

Assign an ILP to a Single Learner

  1. Click Users on the left navigation bar.
  2. Click Learners.
  3. Click Episodes for the learner.
  4. Click the Episode tab.
  5. Under Assign an ILP to this learner, select the ILP.
  6. Click Save.

The ILP will now appear within the Progress section of the learner’s portfolio.

Tips & Notes

  • You must have the Manage learner accounts permission to assign ILPs.
  • Use filters when assigning ILPs in bulk to ensure accuracy.
  • Only one active signable ILP can exist for a learner at a time.
