Can Inclusion Data Be Reported On and Exported?

✨ Frequently Asked Question
This article forms part of our Inclusion Module FAQ series.

Overview

Yes. The Inclusion Module includes reporting and analytics tools that help Centres monitor learner support activity, identify trends, and review support delivery across their organisation.

Several areas of the module provide reporting, filtering, and export capabilities, with additional reporting functionality planned for future releases.

Centre Analytics

The Inclusion Module includes dedicated analytics dashboards that provide visibility of support activity and learner support requirements.

Available analytics include:

  • Barriers to Learning
  • Support Needs
  • Support Plan Activity
  • Wellbeing Trends
  • Learner Characteristics

These reports can help Centres understand emerging trends and monitor support provision across their learner population.

Filtering and Drill-Through

Analytics dashboards support filtering and drill-through functionality, allowing users to investigate the underlying learner records behind reported figures.

This enables users to move from high-level statistics to individual learner records where appropriate.

Support Delivery Exports

The Support Delivery tab includes export functionality for learner support activity.

Information recorded within Support Delivery can be exported to CSV, including details such as:

  • Support delivery dates
  • Support hours
  • Support descriptions
  • Support provider details

This allows Centres to analyse learner support information outside of Onefile where required.

Future Reporting Enhancements

Additional reporting functionality is planned for future releases.

This includes:

  • Inclusion Module datasets within overnight data exports.
  • Inclusion data within the Onefile Power BI feed.
  • Additional reporting opportunities for advanced analysis and business intelligence.

These developments will provide greater flexibility for Centres that require organisation-wide reporting and external analytics.

What Can Reporting Be Used For?

Inclusion reporting can support a variety of operational and quality assurance activities, including:

  • Monitoring learner support provision.
  • Tracking support delivery activity.
  • Reviewing support plans and interventions.
  • Identifying wellbeing trends.
  • Evaluating support resources and staffing requirements.
  • Supporting funding, compliance, and audit processes.

Example

A Centre Manager may use Centre Analytics to identify:

  • The most common barriers to learning across the Centre.
  • Learners with active support plans.
  • Wellbeing trends over time.
  • The volume of support delivery hours being provided.

This information can help inform support strategies and resource planning.

  • Centre Analytics provides visual reporting across key Inclusion Module areas.
  • Support Delivery records can be exported to CSV.
  • Analytics support filtering and drill-through to learner records.
  • Additional export datasets are planned for future releases.
  • Reporting capabilities may expand as new Inclusion Module features are introduced.
