Allocations

Overview

The Allocations feature provides a quick and efficient way to assign various users to your learners’ accounts. This includes updating assessors, IQAs, EQAs, and other user roles linked to learning aims. Changes made through Allocations are applied immediately to the learner’s portfolio.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager
  • User Manager

How to Allocate Users to Learners

  1. Click Users from the navigation bar.
  2. Click Allocations.
  3. Use the filters to update and refine the table.
  4. Select the learner you wish to update.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  6. Under Assessors, use the dropdown lists to add or remove users from the learner or learning aims.
  7. Click Submit.

Once submitted, the users you have added or removed will be updated immediately within the learner’s portfolio.

Which Users Can Be Allocated?

Within the Allocations feature, only the following user roles can be assigned to a learner:

  • Default Assessor (Learner)
  • Default Assessor (Learning Aim)
  • Additional Assessors
  • Internal Quality Assurer
  • External Quality Assurer

If you need to allocate other types of users—such as Employers or Observers—you will need to do this individually for each learner via the Access Accounts tab in their account.
