Managing Individual User Permissions

Overview

This feature allows you to override the default permissions assigned at the User Group level for an individual user. These customised permissions take priority over group settings.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by:

  • Centre Manager

What Are User Permissions?

User Permissions allow you to assign or override specific permissions for a single user. These settings always take precedence over the permissions defined in the Group Permissions area.

Steps to Change User Permissions

Step 1: Navigate to Users

  • Click Users in the navigation menu.

Step 2: Open the User Account

  • Click on the Account of the user whose permissions you want to change.

Step 3: Go to the Permissions Tab

  • Click the Permissions tab at the top of the page.

Step 4: Set the Permission

  • Use the drop‑down menu next to each permission to choose the desired setting.

Step 5: Save Changes

  • Click Save to apply the new permissions.

Available Options

  • Inherit – Uses the Group Permission assigned by a Centre Manager. Recommended for consistency.
  • Grant – Always grants the permission for this user, regardless of group settings.
  • Deny – Always denies the permission for this user, regardless of group settings.

ℹ️ Important: Use Inherit unless you need to override a specific permission. Changes apply immediately after saving.
