Annotating Assessment Evidence

Overview

Assessors can annotate learner evidence within Holistic Assessments to provide detailed feedback. This feature requires the HTML editor to be enabled in your centre settings.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Assessor and Trainee

Steps to Annotate Evidence

  1. Open the Assessment.
  2. Scroll to the Evidence section.
  3. Highlight the text you want to annotate.
  4. Click Annotate.
  5. Add your comments.
  6. Click Apply.

For Resubmitted Assessments

When a learner resubmits evidence with amendments, you will see radio buttons to help compare versions and annotate further:

  • Annotator – Annotate the latest evidence submission.
  • History – View the original submission and annotation comments.
  • Both – Displays original submission (right) and latest submission (left).

You can also toggle through previous versions using the arrows when History or Both is selected.

Tip: Use the Both option for a side-by-side comparison when reviewing changes between submissions.

Terminology
