Overview
Onefile allows users to upload files directly into the platform. However, all uploads are restricted by a maximum file size limit. Centre Managers can view and adjust this limit within Centre Settings.
Maximum File Size
- Default Limit: 300MB
If a file is larger than this limit, you will need to use an external file‑hosting service and upload a link instead.
Steps
How to View or Change the Maximum Upload Size
- Click Centre in the navigation bar.
- Click Settings.
- Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section.
- Scroll to Uploads.
- Enter the maximum file size you wish to allow.
- Click Save.
Best Practice
- Keep the limit at 300MB for consistent performance across all users.
- Use external hosting for large multimedia files and share links instead of direct uploads.
