What's the maximum file upload size?

Overview

Onefile allows you to upload files directly to the platform, but there is a maximum file size limit. Centre Managers can view and change this limit within Centre Settings.

Maximum File Size

  • Default Limit: 300MB
If a file exceeds this limit, you’ll need to use external storage solutions such as:
  • Dropbox
  • Google Drive
  • YouTube (for video files)

You can then upload a link to the external file in OneFile for easy access.

Steps to View or Change the Maximum File Upload Size

  1. Click Centre in the navigation bar.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Scroll down to Miscellaneous.
  4. Scroll down to Uploads.
  5. Enter the maximum file size allowed for uploads.
  6. Click Save.

Best Practice

  • Keep the limit at 300MB for optimal performance.
  • For large multimedia files, use external hosting and share links.
