Assigning an EQA to Learners

Overview

Centre Managers, IQAs, and Assessors (with permission) can assign an External Quality Assurer (EQA) to learners for verification purposes. EQAs ensure compliance with awarding body standards.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager

  • Internal Quality Assurer (with permission)

  • Assessor (with permission)

Permissions

  • Manage learner accounts

Steps to Assign an EQA

  1. Click Users in the navigation menu.
  2. Click the Allocations tab.
  3. Tick the checkbox for the learner(s) you want to assign the EQA to.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  5. Use the External Verifier drop-down box to select the relevant EQA.
  6. Click Submit.

Assigning EQAs via Learner Portfolio

  • EQAs can also be assigned individually via the IQA/EQA tab on the learner’s portfolio.

Creating an EQA Account

  • EQAs can only be created by Onefile Administrators.
  • Contact the team at Support@onefile.co.uk to request an EQA account.

Tip: Always confirm the correct EQA is selected before submitting allocations to avoid delays in verification.
