Overview
A Learner Sync updates your Onefile app with any changes made in the online version of Onefile for your learners. This includes updates to progress, selected learning aims, units, and other learner information.
We recommend performing a Learner Sync every time you use the app — or at least for the learner you are visiting — to ensure you always have the most up‑to‑date information.
Who Can Use This Feature?

- Trainee Assessor
Centre Settings
No additional centre settings are required to perform a Learner Sync.
Steps to Complete a Learner Sync
Step 1: Open the Onefile App
Step 2: Tap Learners on the Home Screen
Step 3: Select the Learner(s) to Sync
- Tap a learner’s name to sync an individual learner, or
- Tap Sync All to sync all learners on your device.
Step 4: Tap Sync
Step 5: Choose the Elements to Sync
Step 6: Tap Start Sync
Important Notes
- Best Practice: Always sync before starting a visit to ensure you have the latest learner data.
✅ Tip: If you notice missing or outdated information, a quick sync usually resolves the issue.
