The Inclusion Module is available from Thursday, 30th July 2026.
Overview
Learn how to quickly update your centre settings to enable inclusion features within the Onefile platform. This guide provides the exact navigation steps needed to manage your account configuration efficiently.Access to the module is controlled at four levels, from your whole centre down to the individual learner. If you are unable to access the centre setting, please contact your Onefile account manager.

1. Centre-level enablement
This turns the module on for your centre. Once enabled, the permission model below decides who can do what.
Once the module has been enabled by Onefile, A centre manager can turn on Inclusion by following the steps below:
- Click Centre
- Click Settings
- Tick Enable Inclusion
- Click Save
Learner Support will now appear on your navigation bar.
Quick Tip: Inclusion Setting Not Showing?
If you've recently enabled the Inclusion setting but can't see it yet, don't worry — in most cases the change has been saved successfully.
Your browser may still be displaying an older version of the page from its cache. A quick refresh is usually all that's needed to display the new setting.
Try a Full Page Refresh
- Windows: Press
Ctrl + F5 - Mac: Press
Cmd + Shift + R
This forces your browser to reload the latest version of the page and should make the Inclusion setting visible.
Still Can't See It?
If the setting still isn't appearing after a full refresh, try signing out and back in again. If the issue persists, our Support Team will be happy to help.
2. Role-level permissions
Every area of the module can be set per role to one of four access levels. In practice, Centre Managers and User Managers typically have Read/Write, and most other roles default to No Access — but this is all adjustable.
- Inherit — use the system default.
- No Access — the area is hidden.
- Read Only — view but not edit.
- Read/Write — view and edit.
3. User-level overrides
You can override a permission for a specific user, which takes precedence over their role's setting, which in turn takes precedence over the system default.
4. Per-learner enablement
Finally, each learner is switched on individually. On the learner's Episode page, tick Enable Inclusion module — this allows that learner to access Learner Support and the Wellbeing Check-in. This is done by whoever manages the learner's episode.
Tips & Notes
- Centre Managers and User Managers typically have Read/Write; most other roles default to No Access.
