Filter Timesheet by Category

Overview

The Timesheet section allows you to filter entries based on a selected Timesheet Category and identify which entries have been marked as Off-The-Job (OTJ). This helps users quickly locate relevant activity within a learner’s Onefile Eportfolio.

User Roles

This feature can be used by:

  • All users with access to the learner’s portfolio

Steps

How to Filter Timesheet Entries

  1. Navigate to the learner’s Portfolio.
  2. Click the Timesheet section.
  3. Select the desired Timesheet Category from the drop-down menu.
  4. (Optional) Tick Is OTJ to view only entries marked as Off-The-Job.
  5. Click Apply Filters.

Once applied, the Timesheet will only display the entries that match your selected category, OTJ status, and any date filters you have set.

Tips & Notes

  • The button previously labelled Filter is now called Apply Filters.
  • You can combine Category, OTJ, and Date Range filters for more precise results.
  • OTJ visibility depends on the Timesheet Category configuration set by the Centre Manager.
