On Thursday, 18th June 2026, we’ll be rolling out a series of improvements to Enrol Onboarding.

Add a Timesheet Entry

Overview

Timesheet entries record the time spent on activities and help calculate the total time and off-the-job percentage. Learners can also pre-populate timesheets by logging time while completing assessments.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Assessor and Trainee
  • Learner

Setting

  • Learners can log time in Timesheets
  • Learners can log time in Assessments 
  • Assessors can log time in Assessments 

Steps to Create a Timesheet Entry

  1. Open the learner’s portfolio.
  2. Click Timesheets within the Activity tab.
  3. Click Create Timesheet Entry.
  4. Enter a Description of the activity.
  5. Select the Timesheet Category.
  6. Select Who the time was spent by.
  7. Enter the Start date and time and the duration (hours and minutes).
  8. Click Save.

Important Notes

  • If you cannot create a timesheet entry, Timesheet Categories may not have been set up. These must be created by a Centre Manager.
  • Learners should ensure that breaks are not included in the time recorded.
  • From 22nd April 2026 the timesheet entries grid on the timesheet page now includes the “In Paid Hours” column and filter, providing improved visibility and tracking.

Troubleshooting

IssueSolution
Cannot create entryCheck whether Timesheet Categories exist. If not, contact your Centre Manager.
Incorrect time recordedEnsure breaks are excluded and duration matches the actual time spent.
