Overview
When sampling an assessment, Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) may see two options if the correct Centre setting is enabled. These options allow IQAs to either confirm sampled criteria or override assessor decisions. Here’s what each option means:
Sample Checked Criteria
- Used when an Internal Quality Assurer has sampled and signed off criteria on an assessment.
- This confirms that the IQA has reviewed the criteria and agrees with the assessor’s decision.
Accept Checked Criteria
- Allows the IQA to override the assessor’s decision.
- Example: If an assessor has accepted criteria but the IQA disagrees, the IQA can override this so the criteria does not count toward learner progress.
When Are These Options Available?
- These options appear only if your Centre has the relevant setting enabled for IQA sampling.
