Overview
The Review icon allows Assessors and IQAs to complete progress reviews for a learner. This guide explains how to enable the Review feature for an individual learner and how Centre Managers can ensure all new learners have reviews enabled automatically.
Permissions
Who Can Use This Feature?
This feature can be enabled by the following user roles:
- Centre Manager
- Internal Quality Assurer (with permission)
- Assessor (with permission)
Required Permissions
- Can manage learner accounts
Steps
Enable the Review Icon for an Individual Learner
- Click Users in the navigation ensures
- Click Users in the navigation menu.
- Click Learner Episodes.
- Search for and locate the learner.
- Click the Episode tab.
- Tick the checkbox labelled "Tick here to use reviews for this learner".
- Click Save.
Automatically Enable Reviews for New Learners (Centre Manager)
- Click Centre in the navigation menu.
- Click Settings.
- Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section.
- Tick the checkbox labelled "Automatically enable progress reviews for new learners".
- Click Save.
Once these steps are completed, the Review icon will appear in the learner’s portfolio under Information & Options.
Automatically enabling reviews saves time and ensures consistency across the Centre.

- You must have the correct permissions assigned before enabling the Review icon.
