Upcoming Software Update: Enrol Onboarding

On Thursday, 18th June 2026, we’ll be rolling out a series of improvements to Enrol Onboarding.

Enable Magic Links for Reviews

Overview

Magic Links allow employers to access and sign learner reviews without needing to log into Onefile. This feature can be enabled by Centre Managers and includes optional expiry controls to support secure access.

Centre Setting

  • Allow Magic Links for employer signatures
  • Expiry duration (set in days)

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be enabled by the following user role:

  • Centre Manager

How to Enable Magic Links

  1. Log in as a Centre Manager.
  2. Click Centre from the navigation menu.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section.
  5. Locate Reviews.
  6. Tick Allow Magic Links for employer signature.
  7. Enter the Magic Link expiry duration (in days).
  8. Click Save.

Magic Link Benefits

  • Employers can access a review directly through a link.
  • Removes the need for employers to log into Eportfolio.
  • Links are shared via email.
  • Links can be sent to existing employers or new contacts without Onefile accounts.
  • Magic Links can be created by Centre Managers, Assessors, and Trainee Assessors.
  • Older or previously created reviews can also be shared via Magic Link.
  • Magic Links are included in Task emails sent to employers.
  • Usage is reportable through Data Exports.
