Software Update: Wednesday 23rd February 2022 - 07:00-07:30

On Wednesday morning, we're updating OneFile to release some new features, improvements and fixes:

NEW & IMPROVED

Eportfolio

  • We've improved how progress calculation works in Eportfolio. Users will now be informed when the calculation is taking place for a learner via a message in the user interface.
Equally, if an assessor starts a review for a learner, the progress calculation will happen immediately so the review has the latest progress information. In this scenario, no message will appear and the progress calculation happens instantly.

  • Issues that were impacting the BKSBLIVE integration have been fixed. Forms can be published on the ILP page for centre managers in Eportfolio as normal.
Centre managers will see initial assessments, diagnostic assessments and skills checks from BKSBLIVE when adding BKSBLIVE fields and publishing forms.

FIXES

Eportfolio

  • All scorecards, regardless of who submits them, will match the scorecard CSV data in OneFile's exports.
We've fixed a scenario where some discrepancies were appearing if the scorecard was submitted by an assessor on behalf of the learner.

  • The calendar syncing functionality for Outlook has been fixed.
You can now sync your OneFile calendars with Outlook. The sync will backdate one year and also contain all future calendar events in OneFile.
To find out more please refer to this support article here.
  • A number of issues related to the Safari internet browser have been successfully fixed.
Previously, when using safari, users were not able to select recipients when creating new messages. This has now been fixed and recipients can be added to the message via the pop-up.

  •  There was also an issue that prevented review form information from being saved. This has been resolved and when a user has completed a review form, the page successfully saves. The user will be kept on the page after the save has been made.

  •  Another issue in Safari was that assessors weren't able to allocate plan templates to learners. This is now resolved and means that assessors can successfully access assessment plan templates, select a class, and assign to learners from the list.

  • All scorecards, regardless of who submits them, will match the scorecard CSV data in OneFile's exports.
We've fixed a scenario where some discrepancies were appearing if the scorecard was submitted by an assessor on behalf of the learner.

ILR

  • Inactive programme aims weren't displaying when a user was returning to the programme summary after editing an inactive programme aim.
This has now been fixed and the inactive programme aims will display correctly.

Learning Hub - Scorecard

  •   We have resolved a visual issue with the scorecard graph. It was previously not displaying the full axis rating scale. This has been resolved and the scorecard graph will go up to 4 on the vertical axis.

UP AND COMING!

ILR

  • We're working on some key developments and improvements for OneFile ILR. Users will soon be able to validate ILR submission data more easily within the product itself.

This new functionality is currently in an early preview mode. If you'd like a walk-through of what we’ve been working on, please speak to your Customer Success Manager at OneFile.

In relation to the above update - previously, the progress calculation was updated instantly when we signed off or unlocked an assessment. Now it seems to take some time to update. Is it expected that this will continue to be a slower process in future?
