Upcoming Software Update: EPortfolio

On Thursday, 2nd July 2026, we’ll be introducing new enhancements to EPortfolio.

Scheduled Downtime: Please note that there will be a brief service interruption to Eportfolio between 7:00 and 7:30 AM on the day of the update.

Assigning Assessment Templates

Overview

Assessment Templates allow Assessors and Trainee Assessors to create structured assessments quickly and consistently. Templates can be pre‑filled with criteria, instructions, or tasks, helping to streamline assessment setup and ensure standardisation across learners and classes.

Centre Setting

To enable this feature, ensure the following setting is switched on in Centre Settings:

  • Allow assessment templates

User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Assessor
  • Trainee Assessor

How to Assign an Assessment Template

  1. Scroll down to Forms & Templates on your homepage.
  2. Click Assessment Templates.
  3. Click Assign to Learner(s).
  4. Click the Filter by Class dropdown and select the class.
  5. Select Assign to Multiple Learners or Assign to Single Learner.
  6. Select the learner(s).
  7. Add any extra information to the template.
  8. Select who the assessment should be started by.
  9. Click Assign.

Assessor to Start

If you want the assessor to start and edit the assessment after it has been assigned to the learner, do not sign the template yet.
