Upcoming Software Update: Enrol Onboarding

On Thursday, 18th June 2026, we’ll be rolling out a series of improvements to Enrol Onboarding.

View and finalise a Skills Assessment

Overview

All users can view a Skills Assessment, but only specific roles can finalise the assessment. Finalising confirms whether the applicant is successful or unsuccessful and allows you to record key information such as duration and Off-the-Job (OTJ) hours.

User Roles

This feature can be viewed by all user roles, and the following roles can finalise the Skills Assessment:

  • Client Owner
  • Tutor
  • Finance Admin

Steps to View and Finalise a Skills Assessment

View a Skills Assessment

  1. Click Applications in the navigation menu.
  2. Click on the applicant you want to review.

Finalise a Skills Assessment

  1. Click Send back to applicant or Finalise application.
    • 1a. Send back to applicant — choose this if amendments are required.
    • 1b. Finalise application — choose this if no amendments are needed.
  2. Select whether the applicant is Successful or Unsuccessful.
    • 2a. Unsuccessful: click Continue to mark the application as unsuccessful.
    • 2b. Successful: click Continue and confirm the duration and OTJ Hours for the applicant.

Important: Only assessments with the status In Review can be finalised.

Tips & Notes

  • Make sure all information is accurate before finalising — the decision cannot be reversed.
  • If amendments are needed, always use Send back to applicant first.
  • Ensure OTJ hours are calculated correctly before confirming.
