Edit a workflow within Enrol Onboarding

Overview

Workflows allow Administrators to configure structured onboarding journeys for learners. A workflow is a sequence of steps that can include Custom Pages, Enrol forms, RPL steps, and third‑party integrations. Editing a workflow enables you to update content, reorder steps, and refine the onboarding experience before publishing.

Workflows ensure onboarding is completed in the correct order and provide a consistent experience for all learners. Progress is tracked automatically, giving Administrators and Users visibility of completed and outstanding steps.

Steps

How to Edit a Draft Workflow

  1. Click Workflow from the left‑hand menu.
  2. Click the three dots next to the workflow you want to edit.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Make the required changes to the workflow steps, order, or content.
  5. Click Publish Workflow when you are ready to make the workflow active.

✔️ Tip: Only workflows in Draft status can be edited. If a workflow is already published, you will need to duplicate it or create a new version.

Tips & Notes

  • Ensure all workflow steps are correct before publishing, as published workflows cannot be edited.
  • You can include custom pages, forms, RPL steps, or third‑party integrations depending on your programme setup.
  • Review the workflow from the learner’s perspective to ensure clarity and ease of completion.
