An Apprenticeship Training Plan is a document that outlines the training and development activities an apprentice will undertake during their apprenticeship journey. The document also outlines how the apprentice will be supported to successfully achieve the apprenticeship. It serves as a contract signed by the employer, apprentice, and training provider. This agreement must be established before any training begins, and a fully signed version should be in place within a 42-day ‘qualifying day’ period.
The plan of training is the section within the training plan that details the planned content and units of delivery. It must include a description of the activities the apprentice will undertake to develop occupational competency. Additionally, it should specify when the content will be delivered and identify the party responsible for delivering each component. Furthermore, it must be clear whether a particular component contributes to the off-the-job training calculation.
OneFile Delivery Plans are here to help you manage plans of training from within Eportfolio. They enable you to create a typical plan for a learner without any prior learning and then to adjust it to align with the specific requirements of both the learner and the employer. These delivery plans can subsequently be incorporated into the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) to gather the necessary signatures.
