Overview
Rating Scales support standardisation and consistent judgement of learner performance in Onefile Eportfolio. Once created and published, a rating scale can be linked to standards and used throughout your quality assurance processes.
User Roles
This feature can be used by:
- Centre Manager
Centre Settings
No additional Centre settings are required to create a Rating Scale.
Steps to Create a Rating Scale
- Click Quality in the navigation bar, then select Scorecard Rating Scales.
- Click Create.
- Click New Template to set the title of the rating scale.
- Create the rating values for your scale, using the + icon to add additional ratings as needed.
- Click Publish when you are ready to make the scale available for use.
⚠️ Important: A rating scale is not available to link to standards or use in Scorecards until you have published it.
Tips & Notes
- Use clear, meaningful rating labels (for example, "Outstanding", "Meeting Expectations", "Needs Improvement") to support consistent use across your Centre.
- After publishing, the next step is to link your rating scale so it can be used for scoring.
