On Wednesday 21st January 2026, we’ll be rolling out a series of enhancements and fixes to Eportfolio.

Sampling an Assessment

The Sampling an Assessment feature allows Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) to review and verify assessments within the learner portfolio.


Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Internal Quality Assurer (IQA)


Steps to Sample an Assessment

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Learner Portfolio.
  2. Scroll down to Assessments.
  3. Click the Title or Reference of the assessment you want to sample.
  4. Scroll to Criteria and tick the sampled criteria.
  5. Scroll to Internal Verifier and select Accept or Reject.
  6. Scroll to Declaration & Signatures, sign the assessment, and click Save.

IQA Ready Assessments

Assessments that are ready for sampling can be accessed through the IV-ready Assessments Report, located on the IQA's homepage.
