How is target progress calculated?

Target progress is an indicator of how far a learner is expected to be for a particular unit, learning aim, or their whole portfolio.

If your centre settings for "Apply weightings to target progress" has been enabled, the target progress will be calculated based on the the weightings. More information on Progress weightings can be found here.

Unit Target Progress

For each unit, target progress is calculated using the Unit Start Date and the Unit Anticipated Completion date.

Learning Aim Target Progress

Learning Aim target progress is calculated by taking an average of the target progress for all selected units in each learning aim.

Overall Target Progress

The overall target progress of the portfolio is calculated by taking an average of the target progress for all selected units.
