How is target progress calculated with Progress Weightings?

Target progress is an indicator of how far a learner is expected to be for a particular unit, learning aim, or their whole portfolio.

  Centre Setting

Apply Weightings to target progress

Unit Target Progress

For each unit, target progress is calculated using the Unit Start Date and the Unit Anticipated Completion date.

Learning Aim Target Progress

Learning Aim target progress is calculated by averaging the weighted unit(s) target progress.

Overall Target Progress

The overall target progress of the portfolio is calculated by averaging the weighted learning aim(s) target progress.

Please download the attached example on how target progress is calculated when Progress Weightings have been applied.
