Resetting the password for another user

Since the roll out of the OneFile Keychain to all users (01 May 2024), we would advise that user's reset their own passwords via the Password Reset page.

As a Centre Manager, if you want to reset the password of another user, for example, a Tutor or a Learner, then follow the steps below:

  1. Click Users
  2. Locate the account of the user you'd like to reset the password for
  3. Click Account
  4. Scroll to the Login Details section
  5. Click Reset Password

Important

The option to reset the password from this page will only appear if the user has previously logged in, and consequently verified their email address.


When this button doesn't appear, you can enter the user's email address via the Password Reset page.

Please note that this will send an email from [email protected] to their email address, and the link will expire in 1 hours of being generated.
