How can I reset the password for another user?

  User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Centre Manager

Although we would advise that user's reset their own passwords via the Password Reset page, Centre Managers can reset passwords for other users on the centre by following the steps below:  

  1. Click on Users in the navigation menu
  2. Locate or search for the user
  3. Click their Account button (for learners, click Episodes, then Account)
  4. Scroll down the to Login Details section
  5. Click the Email button (if you're unable to see the Email button, click the Unlink account button and the the Email button will appear).

The user will receive an email to the primary email address with their username and a randomly generated password.

Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers with the below permission will be able to reset learners passwords.

Email not received

If the user does not receive this email, they should check their spam/ junk folder before contacting their internal IT team
