OneFile RPL Software Update: Wednesday 11th April 2025

Summary

This release includes several enhancements to improve the flexibility and efficiency of your workflows, especially around application management and custom skills scans. We’ve also fixed a handful of bugs to ensure a smoother, more intuitive experience.

There will be no product downtime, therefore no need to ensure you are logged out of RPL.

Improvements to exisiting features

Bulk return applications

• You can now return multiple applications currently in review back to learners in one go. This should help streamline your internal processes and save valuable time.

Custom skills scan enhancements

• You can now reorder custom questions within a skills scan—no more deleting and re-adding from scratch!

• You also have the option to disable qualification-related questions if they're not relevant to your setup, giving you more control and flexibility.

Bug fixes

Rounded pricing display

•  We've fixed an issue where total negotiated prices and reduction amounts were displaying with pence. These values now correctly round to the nearest pound.

Duplicate applicant warning

•   When adding a new applicant, the system now alerts you if the email address and standard match an existing record. 

RPL to Eportfolio: learner creation and scorecard transfer

• We’ve resolved a bug where learners weren’t being created in the Eportfolio from RPL. With the event enabled, learner creation and scorecard transfer now work as expected.

Skills scan Navigation - scroll to top

• After completing a section of the skills scan, the page now automatically scrolls to the top when moving to the next page—making navigation smoother and reducing confusion.

These changes aren't guaranteed to be included in this update.  Any changes to the above planned updates will be communicated in this thread!
