RPL: No reduction on completed skills scans.

We're aware of an issue where the RPL funding reduction isn't being applied to applicants since the latest update on 18/02/2025, around 2pm GMT.

Currently, there's no workaround available. Whilst we investigate with urgency, we advise you not to accept or reject any applicants that come through, until we have further information.

Important Update

Support for the old OneFile Eportfolio app (yellow icon) ends on 28th February 2025. To avoid losing access or data, please ensure the app has synced, then uninstall it and download the new OneFile Eportfolio app (blue icon) from the Google Play or Apple App Store.

Enhancements

OneFile API

  • The Update User API endpoint now allows you to update Employer and Observer users. Information on OneFile API can be found here

OneFile Eportfolio

  • A new Off-The-Job section has been included in the framework templates. This section lets you input the typical duration and weekly contractual hours for the apprenticeship, after which the minimum off-the-job hours are automatically calculated
  • OneFile Delivery Plans: Delivery plans will enhance your ability to manage your ESFA Training Plans within Eportfolio. They allow you to create a detailed plan of training that can be incorporated into a learner’s Individual Learning Plan (ILP). This can then be used to gather the necessary signatures

Delivery plans will be released in 3 phases, This release allows Centre Managers and User Managers to create delivery plan templates. More information can be found here

Fixes

OneFile API 

  • The validation on the Update User API endpoint has been updated to allow values of 99 in L15 and L16 then L14 is set to 2 (Learner does not consider himself or herself to have a learning difficulty and/or disability and/or health problem) 
  • PlacementID is now returned by the User Search API endpoint when searching for employers (Role: 40)
