Overview
An Apprenticeship Training Plan outlines the training and development activities an apprentice will complete throughout their apprenticeship. It also explains how the apprentice will be supported to successfully achieve the apprenticeship. This document acts as a contract between the employer, apprentice, and training provider and must be in place before training begins. A fully signed version must be completed within the 42‑day qualifying period.
The plan of training is the part of the training plan that details the planned content, delivery structure, units covered, and the activities the apprentice will undertake to develop occupational competency. It must outline:
- What activities will be delivered
- When the delivery will take place
- Who is responsible for delivering each component
- Whether each component contributes to the off‑the‑job training calculation
Onefile Delivery Plans allow centres to manage the plan of training directly within ePortfolio. They enable you to create a typical training route for a learner without prior learning and then tailor it to the specific requirements of the learner and employer. Delivery Plans can then be added to the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for electronic signatures.
