Create a sampling plan in multi mode

Overview

Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs) can create sampling plans in multi mode to efficiently assign sampling tasks across multiple learners and units. This allows for planned sampling methods, reminders, and assessment processes to be applied in bulk.

Who Can Use This Feature?

This feature can be used by the following user roles:

  • Internal Quality Assurer

How to Create a Sampling Plan in Multi Mode

  1. Click Unit Sampling from the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Use the filters to display learners and their assigned units.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Select Multi-Mode within the Learner Selection area.
  5. Click Simple or Advanced mode.
  6. Leave date fields blank unless searching for planned sampling.
  7. Tick the checkbox within assigned units to select units for multiple learners.
  8. Tick Planned Sampling Methods.
  9. Select the Assessment Processes (visible only if configured by your Centre).
  10. Set a task reminder date using the date picker.
  11. Add Additional Comments (optional).
  12. Click Apply all to Table.

Simple vs Advanced Mode

Toggling between the Simple and Advanced radio buttons provides additional configuration options for building your sampling table or searching for sampling activity that has already taken place.

Viewing Planned Sampling

Once sampling has been applied, you can view the Planned Sampling Methods you selected. These appear as coloured boxes within the sampling table.

Using the Planned Activity options will also display the following for each unit selected:

  • Planned completion date
  • Planned formative sample date
  • Planned assessment processes
