Overview
Feedback in Onefile is an important communication tool between users. This feature ensures that feedback is read and acknowledged by creating a task for the recipient to confirm they have reviewed the comments.
User Roles
This feature can be used by the following user roles:
- Centre Managers
- Lead Internal Quality Assurers
- Internal Quality Assurers
- Assessors
Where Can Feedback Acknowledgement Tasks Be Created?
Tasks can be created from the following areas:
- Assessments
- Assessor Observations
- Learner Interviews
- Plans
- Reviews
- Unit Summaries
How to Create a Task to Acknowledge Feedback
- Enter feedback in the Feedback and Comments textbox.
- Tick the checkbox Create task to acknowledge this feedback (located below the textbox).
- Save or sign the page.
Result: The recipient receives a task and message requesting them to acknowledge the feedback.
How the Recipient Acknowledges Feedback
- Open the task.
- Click Mark as Read.
Once the task has been acknowledged, a green tick appears next to the user’s name.
Important Notes
- This feature encourages engagement with feedback and confirms it has been reviewed.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Task not appearing | Ensure the feedback checkbox was ticked before saving or signing. |
| Cannot mark as read | Check that the task is active and linked to the correct feedback entry. |
